I went to the Mocca Art Festival on June 6th with my good friend SALLY!!! and well it was an amazing event it definitely awakened my inner spirit and passion for art
There were several surprises .. like running into NINA!! my long lost friend from Connecticut... haha. It was destiny for Sally and I to run into her randomly in the center of the festival. SO so Great.
But yeah so we ended up having a little SVA reunion at battery park or whatever the hell you'd like to call it.
It was fun
Anyways.. yeah. So I'm building up a portfolio and I am in need of several supplies. Mainly I need water colors because I'm going to follow around this singer/song writer/street performer Panos Kappos around and sketch him while listening to his awsome music. I actually met him in the 23rd street subway. I chilled down there with him for an hour (literally) it was fucking cold outside. SO we got to know each other. THen I was in Soho a couple months later checking out different tags and galleries when I met him at another subway station. So I asked him if I could sketch him one day. Yeah its all goooood B)
This is why I love NYC <3
Things are only going to get better. OH! and if anyone knows where I can buy mannequins(sp) let meh know!!!
Tooodles for now Peeeps

Do you use any computer programs when making your comics?
(like the coloring and what not?)
because i took graphic design and well... i failed it haha
thats how bad i am
Oh no! failed graphic design?! Maybe your teacher just sucked, lol... D8 I use a bunch of different programs, mostly Photoshop for basic stuff, OpenCanvas for coloring, and I've recently been trying to learn Flash (you can do really awesome inking in Flash). Most of my color comics were done digitally, but I don't really enjoy digital coloring...it makes my eyes hurt after a while. ;_; Still, if you want any pointers, I'd be happy to help
